What’s new in FortiAP 5.4.2 Introduction

- New security option for CAPWAP data channel: IPsec VPN

FortiAP 5.4.2 supports upgrading from 5.4.1.
Downgrading to previous firmware versions
FortiAP 5.4.2 does not support downgrading to previous firmware versions.

FortiClient is a complete security package for Windows which includes an antivirus scanner, firewall, web filtering and also a network optimizing utility.
The program's name isn't exactly well-known which may be a cause for concern when it comes to malware protection. Its antivirus side includes real-time protection, automatic updates, a quarantine function and a tool which monitors modifications to the Windows Registry.
Aside from antivirus, FortiClient provides other modules which are handy including an effective firewall. The firewall can manage advanced rules and can define security zones while providing full support for VPN connections and WAN optimization.
Parental Control functions include protecting minors against online content such as alcohol, drugs, gambling, illegal or unethical content and more.
